Facebook Marketing for Hotels – an Infographic

These days, it’s hard to find a good reason why hotels wouldn’t use Facebook marketing to spread the word.

Did you know?

Facebook is a platform with over 2 billion users.

So, it’s simply too good an opportunity to miss out on.

Want to spread the word about your hotel business?

Facebook can help in it as well.

All you need to do is make a proper go of Facebook marketing. And to do that, of course, you need to set up your basic profile (if you haven’t already). Most hotels will already have a page, but many of them will not be utilizing it effectively. Many pages will just sit there and hotels won’t update them regularly.

When you have your basic profile set-up, it’s time to dig a little deeper into what your hotel wants out of Facebook. Is the aim to simply get more likes or do you want to get people on to your website to book rooms? Facebook ads give users a variety of options to choose from. So, take a small bit of time to read through what’s available.

Generally, you’ll need some budget to promote the page to a wider audience. And for most of the hotels, this budget is extremely affordable.

Facebook is an expert on its users and can deliver targeted ads where you want them. For example, you may have a honeymoon package that your hotel is trying to promote; the best people to promote this to will naturally be engaged couples. Facebook can find such couples for you and show them your offer exclusively.

Another very important part of any Facebook business page is engagement. Administrators of the Facebook pages of hotels must interact with users and engage the potential customers. Simply responding promptly to comments is such a simple way of presenting a hotel in a positive light.
